Troubleshooting
This section lists common problems you may run into while using the Loft Interface, and how to fix them.
Loft Interface is Not Responding
Wait a few seconds and try again. If it still doesn't work, check the screen's connection, go to Settings > Sync Data, and restart the Loft Interface if needed.
Internet Connection Required
An active internet connection is required when scanning the QR code or syncing data.
QR Code is Not Scanning
Make sure the QR code is clearly visible on the screen and hold your mobile device steady. Check your mobile device's internet connection and try scanning again.
Latest Devices or Setup are Not Showing
Go to Settings > Sync Data and sync your latest setup. Once it's done, go back to the Home page and check the updated data.
Bluetooth is Not Connecting
Go to Settings > Bluetooth and check that it is turned on. If it's already on, turn it off and on again, then try once more.
Device is Not Responding to Commands
Check that the device is powered on and connected. If it uses Bluetooth, check that too, then go to Settings > Sync Data and try controlling the device again.
Wrong Devices are Showing for a Room
Check Settings > Controller Type to see if the screen is set to Home Controller or Room Controller. In Room Controller mode, check the selected room and go to Settings > Sync Data.
Device is Missing from the Home Page
Open the Home page widget options and check Device Control. Add the device, group, or room you need. If it's still not there, go to Settings > Sync Data.
Knob is Not Controlling the Right Device
Go to Settings > Knob Setting > Manage Devices for Knob and check that the right device, scene, group, or room is assigned. Also check Bluetooth and the device's connection.
Knob Control Option is Missing
Go to Settings > Knob Setting > Manage Knob Screen and check that the option is turned on. Drag and drop to reorder options if needed.
Knob Turns Too Fast or Too Slow
Go to Settings > Knob Setting > Rotor Speed and adjust the step size, from 1 to 10, until it feels right.
Scene is Not Running as Expected
Check that the devices in the scene are on and connected. Go to Settings > Sync Data and try running the scene again.
Sidebar Option is Missing
Go to Settings > Manage Sidebar Links and check that the option is turned on. Drag and drop to change its position if needed.
Light Control is Not Working Right
Check that the light is powered on and connected. Try again, go to Settings > Sync Data, and check the light's status.
Curtain is Not Responding
Check that the curtain device is powered on and connected. Go to Settings > Sync Data and try opening or closing it again.
Changes in the LOFT App are Not Showing on the Loft Interface
Check that your changes are saved in the LOFT App. On the Loft Interface, go to Settings > Sync Data and wait for it to finish.
Loft Interface is Not Displaying Correctly
Check Settings > Theme & Font and see which theme and font are selected. Change them if needed, and restart the Loft Interface.
App Crashes or Closes on Its Own
Reopen the app and try again. Avoid tapping too many actions quickly. Check the app version under Settings > App Version and restart the Loft Interface if it keeps happening.
Cannot Log Out
Wait for any ongoing sync or action to finish, then try Settings > Logout again. If the screen is stuck, restart the Loft Interface and try again.
Sensor Information is Not Updating
Check that the sensor is connected and powered on. Go to Settings > Sync Data and check the sensor information again.
Panel is Not Showing
Check that the panel is set up correctly and connected. Go to Settings > Sync Data and check the Panels section again.
Climate Device is Not Responding
Check that the climate device is powered on and connected. Go to Settings > Sync Data and try controlling it again.
Group Control is Not Working
Check that the devices in the group are available. Check the group setup and go to Settings > Sync Data before trying again.
