Delete Master Scene

This guide provides troubleshooting steps to resolve Delete Master Scene problems in the Loft App.

1. Master Scene is Assigned Somewhere

Possible Cause:

  • The Master Scene cannot be deleted if it is still assigned to another control or automation component such as a BLE Remote, Sensor, Panel, or similar device.
  • Deleting a Master Scene that is still assigned may cause dependency conflicts, so the system restricts its deletion.

Solutions:

  • Identify where the Master Scene is currently assigned (e.g., BLE Remote, Sensor, Panel, or other linked modules).
  • Open the corresponding module in the Loft App.
  • Unassign or remove the Master Scene from all active assignments or configurations.
  • Once the Master Scene is no longer assigned anywhere, return to the Master Scene Section.
  • Tap the three dots (⁝) icon beside the Master Scene and select Delete to remove it successfully.

Note:
A Master Scene can only be deleted when it is not assigned to any control device or automation.
Ensure it is unlinked from all modules before attempting to delete to avoid system restrictions.
