Scene Control
This guide provides troubleshooting steps to resolve Scene Control problems in the Loft App.
1. Scene Devices Not Operate
Possible Cause:
- Devices linked within a Scene may not function properly after executing the scene due to firmware version mismatch or outdated device configurations.
- If any device’s firmware version is older, it may fail to respond when the scene is triggered.
Solutions:
- Open the Loft App → Device Settings → Check for Firmware Update.
- Ensure all devices included in the scene are updated to the latest firmware version.
- After updating, re-run the scene to verify proper operation.

2. Scene Not Working or Execution Problem
Possible Cause:
- The scene may not execute correctly if:
- The scene has no active or available devices linked.
- One or more devices previously added to the scene were removed, reset, or became offline.
- The automation configuration was altered or incomplete.
Solutions:
- Open the Loft App → Room → Scene Section.
- Review all devices and actions configured under the selected scene.
- Verify that all devices are online, active, and properly configured.
- Remove offline or unavailable devices and re-add working ones.
- Save the updated scene and execute it again to confirm successful operation.
3. Gateway Issue (Cloud Mode)
Possible Cause:
- When executing a scene through Cloud Mode, performance issues may occur if:
- The gateway is added but turned off, or
- The gateway is powered on but lacks an active internet connection.
- The gateway is essential for executing cloud-based scene commands.
Solutions:
- Verify that your gateway device is powered ON and has active internet access.
- Restart the gateway if required and retry the scene execution.
✅ Note:
Scenes depend on the real-time status of connected devices.
If any included device is offline, removed, or not configured properly, the scene may fail to execute as expected.
